This is a bad idea.

Anyway, working in the CITE Office is great fun. The work is interesting (when there is work for this video “expert”). Kris, the secretary is the first sign that it’s a great office. She’s so friendly and conversational as soon as you walk in the door. Darla and Mike (siblings) always find reasons to laugh. Jolaine, my supervisor, alway cares about the well-being of student employees, and works to make sure projects are successful. I don’t know the CITE director, Roger, very well, but when I do talk to him he’s friendly and not arrogant.

I’m so blessed to have this job. I’ll take more than just work experience with me when I graduate.

P.S. Mike still thinks one of the other ladies made the “Please Do Not Feed the Mike,” sign on his window. He has no idea that it was all me. I couldn’t resist, half of his office walls are windows. It’s such a zoo cage, and right in the middle of the office. I’m tempted to make a species description to put below the window.

The one really fun exercise we did (though it would have been more fun if I’d been a little more balanced and less black-outty) was a set up with people stagged like human cones.  The goal was to run on the outside of each while they reached for the ball.   As we progressed, the human-cones were supposed to get rougher and try harder to take the ball.  I finally got rotated in as a human cone and it was a good time.  I almost got the ball from a couple of guys.

I felt bad being the one who always dropped off for a bit, but I have a feeling passing out wouldn’t have been too great either.  I really need to do some running.  Really, really, really.

Today at work I’m going through training videos on Flash Media Server 2.  This guy cannot keep my attention.  “blah blah blah, folders. blah blah, server, blah blah.  Client-side, server-side blah blah blah.”

My interest in technology dwindles every day, but I’m sitting here trying to start yet another blog.
